The Expo 4×4 Show at Stafford Bingley Hall was our first event of the year. The Club had a static display to promote the Club and our events. We had a space on the balcony of the Hall and this year we took 2 x 90’s. One being Dave Ball’s recently rebuilt yellow soft top, and my brother Jim’s green 90 soft top.
For the show Dave did a picture board showing photo’s from his recent rebuild and for Jim’s 90 there were pictures of it being ‘out and about’. Jim had recently bought a new mohair hood for his 90, so while we were there we changed the hood from the canvas hood to the mohair.
Both 90’s had lots of admiring looks, and Jim’s has some custom built dog crates in the back – those were also getting lots of interest. We also had the Trials events dates for 2025 listed and it was nice to say that that there was a lot of interest in the Club and its events for the coming year.
Its always good to see familiar faces at the Show and this years event was no different. Thanks to everyone who came along and said hello.
