Junior 4x4 And Soft Roaders Training Day
Sunday 17th June 2007 @ Granby Farm Wagtail nr Shipston-on Stour Scrutineering Signing on 8.30am on for 10.00am start

This event for the Midland Offroad club is to encourage and instruct younger members and (13 to18 years olds) in the safe and enjoyable form of Offroad driving skills.

For this event the participants should have a suitable four wheel drive car (cars can be multiple driven) less than 2.5 litres that is in a safe and usable condition as all cars will be scrutineered similar to RTV. A minimum requirement will be for steering, suspension, brakes and hand brake, seatbelts provision of suitable recovery points and security of loose items (batteries, wheel braces and jacks ex) and all drivers must be accompanied by an adult driver at all times.

The format for this event will take the form of a number of tame RTV type sections starting with a flat slalom type section and then proceeding to slightly more challenging features in the following sections all sections must be walked before being driven. This event will also be open to soft roaders suitable for any road going 4x4 Please note due to the sever gradients on this site only certain designated areas will be open to juniors and juniors and will not be allowed to drive unaccompanied or outside of the sections

All drivers must be a club member (£20 per individual or £30 for a family membership) there will also be a £5 charge per driver.

Cars should be presented in a clean condition for scrutineering.

Any spectators are welcome to come and have a look at what goes on, there is no charge for this but must sign on at scruteneering due to insurance reasons.
